Much of the information on this CD (and on the Web!) is included in HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) format. To view HTML documents, including those served by WebSTAR, we recommend using Netscape Navigator for Macintosh (although browsers such as MacWeb and Mosaic will work just as well). You can download a copy of Navigator using one of the following methods:

Netscape Navigator developed by Netscape Communications Corporation is available for evaluation by pointing your WWW Browser at one of the following URL's:

or connect to the Netscape Navigator Home Page at:
Using Anonymous FTP or the Fetch application you can connect to the host ftp.netscape.com In the username or login field use anonymous and when it asks for a password please enter your complete email address. You will want to then change to the pub directory.
If that particular host is busy you can use the same instructions for anonymous FTP but connect to the machines ftp2.netscape.com or download1.netscape.com

Downloading Via E-mail
If you do not have direct Internet connectivity, then you can use FTP via E-mail to obtain your Netscape Browser.
If you are located in the United States or Canada, create an email message to one of the following email addresses:
bitftp@pucc.princeton.edu
ftpmail@sunsite.unc.edu
If you are located in the United Kingdom, create an email message to the following email address:
ftpmail@doc.ic.ac.uk
If you are located in the Europe, create an email message to the following email address:
bitftp@vm.gmd.de
If you are located in the Australia, create an email message to the following email address:
ftpmail@cs.uow.edu.au
If we have not listed your location, then use the address to the site closest to you.
In the body of the mail message, include these lines:
open ftp.netscape.com
cd pub

quit
Send the message and you should receive your browser via email within a 24 hour period.
